on Saturday.
Fourth-seeded Caroline Wozniacki downed Ons Jabeur 7-6 (7-3), 6-4 and fifth-
seeded Ana Ivanovic of Serbia cruised past Yulia Putintseva 6-3, 6-1 at the
Indian Wells Tennis Garden.
Canadian Genie Bouchard made easy work ofLucie Hradecka 6-2, 6-2, but No. 9
Andrea Petkovic fell to Lesia Tsurenko 3-6, 6-4, 4-6.
Sara Errani, the 11th seed, defeated Lin Zhu 6-0, 4-6, 6-2, Flavia Pennetta,
the No. 15 seed, got past Madison Brengle 6-4, 6-2, and 16th-seeded Madison
Keys beat Klara Koukalova, 6-3, 6-2.
Other winners included 18th-seeded Jelena Jankovic, 20th-seeded Alize Cornet
and 21st-seeded Samantha Stosur, who dispatched American Taylor Townsend 6-4,
6-2.
Sabine Lisicki dropped Roberta Vinci 6-1, 5-7, 6-4, while 25th-seeded Carolina
Garcia battled past Polona Hercog 6-4, 6-7 (5-7), 6-4.
Coco Vandeweghe, Belinda Bencic and Victoria Azarenka closed out the victors
for Saturday.
The 2015 titlist will earn $900,400.
