Memphis, TN (SportsNetwork.com) – Kei Nishikori became the first player to win
three straight Memphis Open titles when he took down Kevin Anderson Sunday in
straight sets.
The top-seeded Nishikori converted three of four break opportunities and won
his eighth career title with a 6-4, 6-4 victory.
The second-seeded Anderson, who saved three match points, fell to 2-7 all-time
in ATP finals.
Nishikori earned $106,565.
