Dog reaches Delray QFs

Delray Beach, FL (SportsNetwork.com) – Alexandr Dolgopolov was an easy
second-round winner Thursday at the Delray Beach Open tennis event.

The third-seeded Ukrainian handled American Tim Smyczek 6-2, 6-4 on the
hardcourts at Delray Beach Tennis Center.

Up next for “Dog” will be another American, a surprising Donald Young, who
eased into the round of eight by clipping Colombian Alejandro Gonzalez 6-3,
6-2. The 25-year-old left-hander Young is fresh off his run into the
semifinals in Memphis last week.

The 2015 Delray champion will earn $84,250.
