Memphis, TN (SportsNetwork.com) – South African Kevin Anderson came back to
defeat American Donald Young in the first semifinal at the Memphis Open 4-6,
6-3, 6-4.
Anderson, the number-two seed, lost his first set of the tournament but was
able to handle Young in the next two in a bid to win his first singles
tournament since 2012.
The winner of Saturday night’s semifinal between top seed Kei Nishikori and
Sam Querrey will advance to face Anderson on Sunday.
The Memphis champion will earn $106,565.
